It’s almost time for our annual Holy Ghost Harvest Festival! Bring your family and friends and join us for a wonderful weekend of food, fun, fellowship, games, prizes, and activities for the whole family.
There will be plenty to enjoy throughout the festival, including delicious food and treats, games and activities, and amazing giveaway baskets.
On Saturday, we are pleased to welcome the Tiverton Police Department and the North Tiverton Fire Departmentto our Harvest Festival.
🚓 The Tiverton Police Department will offer child car-seat installation and safety inspections, giving parents and grandparents an opportunity to make sure their children’s car seats are installed properly. Young people will also have an opportunity to see a police cruiser up close.
🚒 The North Tiverton Fire Department will be with us with fire apparatus for our young people to see and explore.
It will be a great “Touch-a-Truck” experience for our younger visitors!
Please note: The Tiverton Police and North Tiverton Fire Departments will be with us on Saturday only.
We are grateful to our local police officers and firefighters for taking part in our festival and for all they do for our community.
Don’t forget our Harvest Festival Raffle!
Two $50 Early-Bird Prizes will be drawn on October 1 from tickets returned by that date. There will also be two $50 prizes for our top ticket sellers.
All remaining raffle stubs and donations are due October 19. For raffle information, please contact Linda in the parish office.

This Sunday, September 27 • 10:30 AM–8:00 PM
Our last Sunday Special Day of Adoration was a great blessing and a wonderful success. People came throughout the day to spend time with Our Lord, and even as the day drew to a close, many remained in prayer before the Most Blessed Sacrament.
There is so much to pray for. We carry our own needs and intentions. Our families need prayer. Our nation and our world need peace. Above all, we need the grace that comes from spending time in the presence of Jesus Christ.
For these reasons, we are hosting another Special Day of Eucharistic Adoration this Sunday, September 27, from 10:30 AM until 8:00 PM.
Please join us. Come for a few minutes or remain for an hour. Bring your joys, your sorrows, your worries, your family, and all those who have asked for your prayers.
Come and adore, seek, and beseech Our Lord Jesus Christ, truly and substantially present in the Most Blessed Sacrament.
“The time you spend with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the best time you will spend on earth.”
— St. Teresa of Calcutta

Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton
Come, let us adore Him.

Please don’t forget our Harvest Festival Planning Meeting this Thursday at 6:00 PM in Holy Family Hall. I promise we’ll keep the meeting to one hour or less.
Come with your ideas and enthusiasm as we begin planning this year’s Harvest Festival. Together we’ll choose the dates for this year’s festival and discuss new ideas to make it our best one yet.
If you’ve helped in the past, thank you for your continued dedication and generosity. If you’re new, we’d love to have you join us! Fresh ideas and new volunteers are always welcome.
Our Harvest Festival is much more than a fundraiser. It is an opportunity to strengthen our parish family, build community, and support the financial needs of our parish.
I hope you’ll join us this Thursday at 6:00 PM in Holy Family Hall. Everyone is welcome!
