Holy Ghost Gives The Church A New Priest

Join us on Friday, June 19, at 5:00 PM as Rev. Shane Conlon, F.S.S.P., returns to Holy Ghost Church to offer a Solemn High Mass of Thanksgiving following his recent ordination to the holy priesthood.

Father Shane is the third priestly vocation to come from Holy Ghost Parish and the first in eleven years, following the ordination of Rev. Nicholas Fleming in 2015. We give thanks to Almighty God for the gift of his vocation and for the blessing of seeing another son of our parish called to serve Christ and His Church as a priest.

Following Holy Mass, all are invited to a reception in Holy Family Hall. Father Shane will also impart his First Priestly Blessing to all who wish to receive it.

Please join us for this joyful celebration as we thank God for the gift of the priesthood and pray for Father Shane as he begins his sacred ministry. May the Lord bless him with many holy and fruitful years in the service of His Church.
