We are pleased to welcome Father Christopher M. Mahar, Pastor of St. Augustine Church in Providence. Father Mahar was ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Providence in 2004 and has served in parish ministry, seminary formation, Catholic health care ethics, and at the Vatican’s Dicastery for the Promotion of Integral Human Development. He holds advanced degrees in Theology and Ethics, including a Ph.D. from the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium. Father Mahar brings a wealth of experience as pastor, teacher, and servant of the Church both locally and internationally.
