Fr. Peschel’s bio:

Father Christopher Peschel, a native of Boston, was ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Fall River in 2014. He attended Catholic Schools for 12 years prior to entering college at the Franciscan University of Steubenville. He entered the seminary in 2007 from Franciscan University and studied at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia where he earned a degree in Philosophy. He was then assigned in 2010 to St. John’s seminary in Brighton, MA where he specialized in Sacramental Theology. Fr. Chris is a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Equestrian Knights of the Holy Sepulchre. He is an advocate on the local level for Catholic Education and vocations with several published articles, interviews, and conference speaking presentations. He currently serves on the Central School Board for the Diocese of Fall River Catholic Schools, and is a foundation board member for the Catholic Education Foundation, which provides scholarships for students desiring attendance at Catholic Schools. Fr. Chris has served the Church in several capacities through parish assignments in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Archdiocese of Boston, and Diocese of Fall River. He has also had assignments in nursing homes, hospitals, special education, and college campus ministry. He served the Diocese of Fall River for three years in the vocations office as the diocesan recruiter and he is currently the parish priest of Our Lady of Grace Parish in Westport, MA.
