Someone just sent me a text asking if I sent her an email requesting assistance to purchase gifts for my staff. This is not the first time it has happened. NEVER, never, fall for a scam like this. If I was making an appeal, it would be for the parish, it would be in person or via old fashioned snail mail, and any donations would be maid in the form or a check directly to the parish. Once again, never fall for this nonsense. I include the email below.
