Father Patrick Magee FLHF is a Franciscan of Our Lady of the Holy Family Hermit under Bishop Edgar da Cunha in the diocese of Fall River, MA. His conversion to the Lord embracing the Gospel way of life occurred in January of 1970 while studying Electrical Engineering at Marquette University. After graduating, his journey led him to St. Francis and eventually as a missionary religious and priest in Zambia Central Africa for 12 years. Hearing a calling to live more the life of Francis and Gospel obedience he came to Fall River in 1995 under Bishop Sean O Malley.  With his permission Father started a way of life called the Franciscans of Our Lady of the Holy Family. He has the Lay Confraternity of the Franciscans of Our Lady of the Holy Family. There is a member of the Consecrated Franciscans of Our Lady of the Holy Family for priests.  Having received canonical status as a Hermit FLHF he lives in Fall River involved with prayer, intercession, helping parishes and doing pastoral work at St. Anne’s hospital. He has given retreats for dioceses and recently finished a retreat with the deacons and wives of Worcester Diocese.  Besides retreat work he has conducted healing services, has been on radio as well as doing a TV mini-series “The Journey of Saint Paul”  and “The Parables” for cable TV.
