It is with great sadness that I announced the passing of Deacon Ray this evening. Deacon Ray has served Holy Ghost faithfully for many years. More information will be forthcoming.

Deacon Raymond E. Levesque, age 83, of Tiverton, RI, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Kathleen M. (Nestor) Levesque. Deacon Levesque was born in Fall River, He was the son of the late Ovila Levesque and Yvonne (Gagnon) Levesque.

Deacon Levesque was an Ordained Deacon since
1977 in the Diocese of Providence. He served
during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a
Draftsman for McLaughlin Research Co. in
Middletown RI, until he retired in 1992. He was a
member of the Knights of Columbus Fr. Joseph Boehr Council 4753 of Tiverton. He was a former Charlton Memorial Hospital Chaplain, avid bowler, and loved the Red Sox. Deacon Levesque is survived by, three daughters, Anne Marie Gruneberg and husband Lee of Assonet, Karen Elizabeth Johnson and husband Russell of Portsmouth and Gail Anne Cabral and husband Joseph of Swansea; seven grandchildren; one great grandson, a brother, Robert Levesque of Wilmington, Delaware; a sister, Claire Cambra of NH; as well as several nieces and nephews, he also was brother of the late, Roland Levesque and Doris Beaudoin.

DeaconLevesque’s funeral will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 9:00AM from the BOULE FUNERAL HOME, 615 Broadway, Fall River, MA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in Holy Ghost Church, 316 Judson Street, Tiverton. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.
