wishing to receive the Sacraments of the Church

First Meeting: Thursday, February 27, 2020

6:00 pm – Divine Mercy Room (parish center)

Who is this for?

  • People who were never Baptized
  • Non-Catholics desiring to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church
  • Catholics who never received all of their Sacraments

This is just the beginning! All attendees should be participating in Mass every Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation. They must work at developing a daily prayer life to grow in deeper union with Our Lord.

Receiving the Sacraments is only the beginning of a deeper walk with Jesus Christ in His divinely instituted Church on earth on our journey to the kingdom.

What to bring?

  • If you have received any of the Sacraments, please bring a copy of your Sacramental records. You can obtain this by calling the church where you received the Sacrament
  • A notebook, if you want to take some notes
  • An open mind and heart, to allow the Lord to feed you with His life and grace
  • We will provide a Bible and a Catechesim

If you know you will come, please call the office so we can prepare enough books. (401-624-8131) Look forward to seeing you!

2020 Lenten Mission

How to be In The World and not Of It!

Mother Miriam of the Lamb of God, O.S.B.

  • Sunday, March 29   –   The Passover Fulfilled – My Conversion Story
  • Monday, March 30   –   Mary, Mother of the Messiah
  • Tuesday, March 31   –   Faith in the Midst of Unbelief

Born and raised in a Jewish home, Rosalind Moss (now Mother Miriam of the Lamb of God, O.S.B.), in her adult years, embraced Jesus as the Messiah of the Jewish people. Her conversion took her from a successful business career to full-time Evangelical Protestant ministry, earning a Master’s degree from Talbot Theological Seminary. A series of events in the summer of 1990 set her on a compelling course to the Catholic Church which she entered at Easter 1995.

Not long after entering the Church, “Rosalind” became a full-time staff apologist for Catholic Answers traveling the world, speaking and teaching through conferences, parish missions, women’s and family retreats, and all forms of media, including St. Joseph’s Radio, EWTNCatholic Answers Live and Immaculate Heart Radio.

Having been strangely affected as a young Jewish girl in New York by the shortening of nuns’ habits, Mother Miriam’s dream of returning the hemline to the floor and the habit to the world was realized when, in 2008, at the invitation of Archbishop (now Cardinal) Raymond Burke, the Daughters of Mary, Mother of Israel’s Hope was founded. As a contemplative-active Benedictine community of religious sisters, their primary apostolate of helping to restore God’s design for the family is bringing hope to many in the midst of a world turned from God. Further information can be accessed at: www.motherofisraelshope.org.

Mother Miriam can now be heard daily, Monday through Friday, 10-11 a.m. EST on Mother Miriam Live! on The Station of the Cross Catholic Radio Networkhttps://www.thestationofthecross.com/programs/heart-to-heart/, live-streamed also on LifeSiteNews, Facebook and YouTube.
