Reopening for Public Masses

It appears that we will be reopening for Public Masses beginning on May 30th for the celebration of the Feast of Pentecost.

Things will be much different for the foreseeable future. Attendees will be required to wear mask, keep social distancing of at least 6′, follow all seating requirements, use only the required doors, not touch other people, not gather in groups before, during, or after Masses in the parking lot. Attending will be first come, first served. Entrance will be through the back door, facing the rectory so we can have lines to keep proper distance before entering.

We will need teams of people to assist with cleaning the pews after Masses in preparation for the next Mass.

Those who are sick must stay home. Elderly and those who have conditions that would give them a predisposition to the virus should remain at home for the time being.

We are still awaiting further directives from Bishop Tobin.

However, if you visit the church for prayer, you will notice that some pews are closed off and open pews are marked with X to die an indication of where to sit to keep proper distances. Further makings will be coming soon.

Everyone is asked to follow our directives to keep every safe. And remember, all who choose to attend when the churches reopen do so at their own risk.

When we open, the following Mass schedule will be in place to allow for people to leave and cleaning before the next Mass. These times will remain in place until further notice:

  • 4:30 pm – Saturday (Mass of Anticipation)
  • 7:30 am
  • 9:00 am
  • 11:00 am

Further details and updates will be coming soon.
